ChromeDriver

WebDriver is an open source tool for automated testing of webapps across many browsers. It provides capabilities for navigating to web pages, user input, JavaScript execution, and more. ChromeDriver is a standalone server that implements the W3C WebDriver standard. ChromeDriver is available for Chrome on Android and Chrome on Desktop (Mac, Linux, Windows and ChromeOS).

The Google chrome new version 73 (73.0.3683.75) is released with new security features and improvements. There are 60 security vulnerabilities have been fixed in its new version. The Dark mode for MacOS also included.

Following vulnerabilities have been fixed.

  • Command line command injection on Windows
  • CSP bypass with Javascript URLs’.
  • Heap buffer overflow in V8
  • Excessive permissions for private API in Extensions.
